About the Author

Hi, I’m Jacqueline Sacks. I want to start by giving you a little background on what it is I hope to do with the Blindspot Book + Pod. I thought I’d begin by taking you through the journey that brought me here today. 

 

It starts back when I was in high school, growing up in a  small suburb of Villa Park in Orange County, a pretty conservative place to grow up. When I was around 14 or 15yo I felt there was a war coming - against those folks who value hard work, ingenuity, general creativity, and effort over IQ. Those who believe they can, those who have the most valuable power bestowed on humans. 

 

I believe this power is invisible - and is one that can only be seen as a result of its existence through the results of its very action. I can always remember feeling different than my friends and thinking about issues that the world was facing.

 

So I’m taking off my blinders and I hope you’ll join me in taking yours off to really examine issues that humanity is facing today. 

 

For those of you that know me, know that I truly love to immerse myself in good conversation, to go really deep on a 1:1 level, to connect with someone else to hear their story.

For a year, I’ve finally had some time to breathe and submerge myself int 100+ books on a range of issues that humanity is facing - from AI and singularity to parenting, relationships and  the death of religion to name a few.
